LeaseWeb, a leading global infrastructure provider, today unveiled its German Cloud platform. The launch enables customers to instantly deploy cloud instances in Germany, backed by LeaseWeb’s worldwide network and easily managed through LeaseWeb’s premier customer portal.
The LeaseWeb Cloud is based on Cloudstack technology, fully redundant, and hosted in LeaseWeb Germany’s data center in Frankfurt. “After going through a careful design process we built a platform that can offer a highly flexible solution for every type of business”, said Robert van der Meulen, Manager Cloud at LeaseWeb. “Our cloud platform runs on premium hardware that not only stores all customer data twice, but also has redundant power and connectivity. We also provide an additional layer of security through the free firewall included with all instances. This has resulted in one of the most reliable cloud solutions in the market, with ample resources to be able to scale quickly.”
The launch into the German market is the next step in LeaseWeb’s strategy to further expand its global IaaS footprint. The platform was recently launched by LeaseWeb USA in the United States after being available in the Netherlands, where it experienced rapid uptake by German customers.
