About Leaseweb Singapore
In 2014, Leaseweb started operations in Singapore as a geographically strategic location for Leaseweb’s global data center footprint. The expansion marks an initial step in delivering Leaseweb’s next-generation cloud infrastructure solutions through the Asia Pacific region.
Leveraging 25+ years of experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and as a Cloud Service Provider (CSP), our local dedicated team’s mandate is to provide world-class IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services hosted within Singapore data centers.
Leaseweb's expansion in Asia Pacific started more than 10 years ago in Singapore when it established Leaseweb Asia Pacific and started offering on-demand bare metal servers. With the accelerated demand for cloud infrastructure in Asia, Leaseweb established Leaseweb Hong Kong, Leaseweb Australia, and Leaseweb Japan and has expanded with a total of 9 data center locations across the region. In recognition that each country in the region is unique, we have re-branded Leaseweb Asia Pacific into Leaseweb Singapore upon its 10th anniversary in 2023.

Our Management team
I am Pieter Kraan, Managing Director of Leaseweb Singapore, Leaseweb Hong Kong and Leaseweb Australia. I am responsible for the expansion of Leaseweb’s presence in each of these regions. I joined Leaseweb in 2021 and brought over 20 years of global experience in growing businesses in the IT and service industries with me.
Before joining Leaseweb, I served as managing director of Runway86, a Singapore based start-up in the luxury travel industry. Prior to that, I held management positions in the professional printing industry for companies like Océ and Canon in the Netherlands, China and Singapore with national and regional responsibilities.
I hold a MBA Degree in General Management from the joined program of Nyenrode University, the Netherlands, Kellogg School of management, USA, and University of Stellenbosch Business School, South Africa. Next to my work I love spending time with my family, travelling, water sports, winter sports, and Formula1.
I am Yuon On Yip, Operations Director based in Singapore with responsibilities to oversee the smooth operations of the data centres in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia. Our team aims to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and support our business growth in Asia Pacific.
Before joining Leaseweb, I was the Operations Director for Dell Financial Services covering Greater China, South East Asia and India. My hobbies include body weight workouts, PS5 gaming and Netflix.
At Leaseweb, my focus is on driving revenue growth and market expansion throughout the APAC region, ensuring customer satisfaction through impactful solutions tailored to client needs. I’m passionate about cross-functional collaboration and aligning our efforts with the dynamic needs of our clients while fostering high-performing sales teams. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, photography, and exploring diverse cultures through travel.
