LeaseWeb appoints Svenja de Vos as new CTO to stimulate innovation and growth

LeaseWeb, one of the largest hosting brands, announced today that it has appointed Svenja de Vos as their new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Amsterdam, 16 December 2016 - Svenja joins LeaseWeb at a time when the company is continuing to expand its set of hybrid cloud services portfolio to better meet customer needs. In this role, she will define and lead LeaseWeb’s technical vision, push innovation, and further strengthen the company’s cloud hosting and cybersecurity services.

Svenja has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and hosting industry, as well as a proven track record of implementing successful innovation and transformation projects.  As of January 1st 2017, she will be part of the LeaseWeb Global Management Team and be responsible for the product management, product engineering and system administration departments.

Throughout the years Svenja held various international positions at major European telecommunications operator, Tele2. Most recently, she was based at the Tele2 Group in Sweden, as Director of Transformation and was responsible for transforming the business into a more effective and cost-efficient organization. Prior to this, she was the Chief Information Officer for Tele2 in the Netherlands, where she changed the IT department to a more agile organization. In 2016 Inspiring Fifty included her in the list of the 50 most inspiring business women in the Netherlands. More recently, Management Team included her in the “Goudhaantjes-100” list, a list showcasing the best Dutch management talents.
